Commercial Spray Foam Insulation
Warehouses, metal-frame offices, retail shells, churches and ag-industrial buildings. One crew, scheduled around your contractor and your opening date.
Quick answer
We spray closed-cell foam on commercial metal buildings — warehouses, shops, offices and churches — across Southeast Texas. Send plans or dimensions and your schedule; we’ll quote fast, coordinate with your GC, and document foam type and thickness for your energy-code compliance path.
Commercial work runs on schedules and paperwork. You need an insulation sub who answers the phone, shows up the day the shell is ready, and hands over the right documentation when the inspector or engineer asks for it.
Most of our commercial jobs are metal buildings: warehouses, shop-and-office combos, retail shells, churches and ag-industrial buildings. We spray closed-cell foam to the wall and roof panels for insulation, air sealing and condensation control, at the thickness your design calls for.
Conditioned commercial buildings have to meet the energy code in effect where they’re built. Spray foam assemblies usually show compliance through the U-factor method or COMcheck, so loop in your designer early and we’ll match the specified thickness.
From the owner
Spray foam isn’t just spraying foam on a wall. The chemicals, the equipment, the preparation and the application all matter — and on a commercial job, the paperwork matters too.

What does commercial spray foam insulation include?
- Metal building walls and roof panels
- Warehouse and distribution buildings
- Shop / office combination buildings
- Churches, retail shells and community buildings
- Ag-industrial and equipment buildings
Can spray foam meet commercial energy code?
Texas commercial buildings follow the energy code adopted for their jurisdiction, and the prescriptive metal-building tables are written around fiberglass systems. Spray foam assemblies normally comply through the U-factor method or COMcheck. Your designer sets the target; we install the specified foam and thickness and provide the documentation.
What are the fire and thermal barrier rules for commercial foam?
Commercial code generally requires foam to be separated from the interior by a thermal barrier such as ½-inch gypsum board, with limited exceptions. The exposed-foam exception for one-story exterior walls requires, among other things, an automatic sprinkler system throughout — most unsprinklered metal buildings don’t qualify. Listed intumescent coatings can work as an alternative only with the specific foam products they’re tested with. We’ll flag this early so there are no surprises at inspection.
Can you spray foam an occupied commercial building?
Retrofitting an occupied building is possible with planning. Spray areas have to be isolated and ventilated, and people need to stay out during spraying and for the re-occupancy time the manufacturer specifies (commonly about 24 hours). We’ll build a phased plan around your operations.
R-values shown are typical ranges for the foam type and thickness stated and vary by product. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. Ask your seller for the fact sheet on R-values. Savings vary. Find out why in the seller’s fact sheet on R-values.

FAQ
Commercial Buildings FAQ
Don’t see your question? Call or text (346) 505-0304.
Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?
+
Yes. Send plans or dimensions, the specified foam type and thickness if you have it, and your schedule. We’ll turn a quote fast and coordinate directly with your superintendent.
How is commercial spray foam priced?
+
Usually by the board foot — square feet of surface times inches of foam — adjusted for access, height, openings and travel. Bigger, open buildings tend to price lower per board foot than small or tall ones. We’ll break it down so it’s easy to compare bids.
Can you meet the energy code with spray foam on a metal building?
+
Yes, typically through the U-factor method or COMcheck rather than the fiberglass-based R-value table. Your designer determines the required assembly; we install the specified product and thickness and document it.
Can foam be left exposed in a warehouse?
+
Usually not without a thermal barrier or a listed coating. The code exception for exposed foam on one-story exterior walls requires sprinklers throughout plus specific foam limits. We’ll review your building and tell you what’s required.
